social media is an online space where people can interact with one another is considered part of the social web. Social media tools are easy to use as platforms that allow people to connect online.
social in media also known as 'social networking'. Facebook, Twitter, Myspace & Yelp affect my life nowadays. social networking sites are simple a way to contact and connect people more quickly online. Example a giant interactive phone book. we also can have our own network in real life by chatting with friends, family, jobs and etc. We also can post our comment, videos and picture.
Moreover, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp & Myspace as a way to bring information to where people are. We know life is very busy and you may not always have an opporunity to get to our website. And we also know that millions of people are daily checking their "social sites" daily like email.
personal reflection on the media culture class:
Overall, i enjoy the media culture class. But, sometimes i feel bored because of the lecture is too long. Why not the lecturer put on the videos or any interesting sites. So that, no student are sleeping and lastly, students will more focus in lecture class. :)
